Dearest Donors, friends and supporters (angels), what a joy to report our project is already working. Tonight I'm giving a very brief summary. I'll follow with detailed stories and, I hope, pictures. I've taken many.
You've contributed 4905.00 dollars so far.
Boat repairs: 3
Cost: 475.00
Note: These three were much less damaged than most.
Boats will be afloat in 10 days (there will be pictures)
Families restored: 6 YES!!!!
Research: 92 boats on West Kho Lanta can be repaired
Note: I discovered others from various countries working on the same goal. We're working together. With the research I commissioned, we have detailed information on most boats in need of repair. Our joint effort is proving efficient, keeps everyone accountable, avoids duplication and its great to have others with a shared vision and goal.
Note: Today, two others followed our (our=you and me) lead and paid for 10 more boats. Is this cool or what?
Note: We track each major repair expense by boat number and owner, backed up with photos.
Note: One surprise for me - master craftsmen are essential for each boat. I'm learning a lot about boat building.
There is so much more to tell, but these are the essentials for today.
Please encourage your friends to help with prayer and donations.
Please help me get this to all our donors by forwarding it until I create time to compile a complete list for a new email group. I promise to do this quickly.
This Tsunami has created an unprecedented opportunity for people to step into their magnificence on a global scale. Millions are being magnificent...that's you.
